Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent qualification, Grade C Security Certificate with PSIRA registration. No prior convictions. Capable of reading and writing.
Must be able to speak more than one of the official languages. Be available to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Knowledge of Security Prescripts that regulate the Public Service. Must know Batho Pele Principles
Duties:
Ensure the safety and security of employees, property, and visitors, repair of the access control, search of vehicles, employees, and patients exiting and gaining entry into the institution. Carry out hourly rounds within the institution,
parking spots around the perimeter fence and report any irregularities or suspicious movements. Monitor the CCTV camera. Participate in sectional meetings and submit reports. Help other units with backup.
