Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification
- 1–3 years’ experience in the security industry
- PSIRA Grade C certificate
- Firearm Training Certificate (Business Purpose)
- SAPS competency certificate
- National Key Point (NKP) certificate
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Clean criminal record

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Guarding and patrolling the premises
- Enforcing strict access control procedures
- Searching vehicles, individuals, and property in line with regulations
- Preventing unauthorised removal of equipment
- Operating control room security systems
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Recording all incidents in the Occurrence Book
- Applying emergency procedures (e.g. threats, unrest, breaches)
- Arresting offenders where required under applicable laws
