About the Role
Fidelity Services Group is looking for dedicated Junior Firefighters to join the Fire Solutions division.
The role includes responding to fire emergencies, performing rescue missions, providing basic medical care, undertaking fire prevention campaigns, and maintaining firefighting equipment.
All operations are conducted under the orders and direction of senior officers.
Duties
Respond to answer fire, rescue, hazardous materials emergency, and other types of emergencies.
Operate firefighting and rescue vehicles and breathing apparatus equipment.
Put out small fires and administer emergency medical treatment and remove casualties.
Conduct fire prevention work, safety inspections, and training exercises.
Participate in drills, simulations, and physical fitness training.
Maintain vehicles, fire apparatus, and equipment in a state of readiness at all times.
Accurately keep incident and report records.
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) – minimum.
IFSAC Accredited with NFPA 1001 Firefighter II Certification.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in firefighting with equivalent training.
Valid, unendorsed driver’s license (advanced driving an asset).
Physically and medically fit with knowledge of fire prevention and firefighting systems.
Clean criminal record.
Hazmat awareness and EMT certification (First Aid Level 1–3 / Basic Ambulance Attendant).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to adhere to operational procedures and safety protocols.
