Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• Valid PSiRA Grade A or Grade B registration/certificate.
• Computer literacy.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a security supervisory position or hospitality environment.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and well-groomed presentation.
• Must be able to travel or work in the Cape Town/Tokai area.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Hotel Security Senior Supervisor will be expected to:

• Monitor and patrol hotel premises to identify and prevent security threats.
• Respond quickly to security incidents, disturbances and guest concerns.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and other security equipment and report faults when necessary.
• Assist hotel guests with security-related queries while providing professional customer service.
• Work closely with hotel management and staff to maintain safety procedures.
• Conduct regular security inspections and checks throughout guest and operational areas.
• Keep accurate daily security logs, incident reports and records.
• Identify suspicious activity and respond according to established security procedures.
• Participate in training and development activities to improve security knowledge and performance.
