Position Title: General Worker (Fixed Term)

Salary: R11,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Gold Reef City is one of Johannesburg’s most popular entertainment destinations, built on a historic gold mine. Known for its thrilling rides, exciting events, and excellent customer service, the park welcomes thousands of visitors every day. As a General Worker, you will help ensure the park remains clean, safe, and enjoyable for all guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in park areas, food courts, and restrooms
- Assist with queue control and safety at amusement rides
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors
- Support events by setting up equipment, distributing flyers, and assisting with crowd control
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Work closely with security, ride operators, and other departments
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
- Good communication skills in English
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods
- Clean criminal record
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays
Preferred (But Not Required) Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or customer service
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe chemical handling
- Experience working in theme parks, hotels, or retail environments
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training, so prior experience is helpful but not essential.
