In this role, your daily duties will include:

  • Vehicle Inspections & Maintenance
    Carry out routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy. Report any faults, incidents, or accidents and maintain accurate logs for fuel usage, mileage, and trips.
  • Transport & Delivery Duties
    Safely transport staff members, official documents, and goods between locations. Timeliness and care are essential in every trip.
  • Safety & Compliance
    Follow all road safety laws, government regulations, and internal procedures. You will also be responsible for handling sensitive documents securely.
  • Customer Service & Support
    Provide professional assistance to passengers, including individuals with disabilities, while ensuring a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
  • Flexible Working Hours
    Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required, depending on operational needs.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4)
  • License: Valid Code EC (unendorsed) driver’s license
  • Permit: Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) for passengers (P) and goods (G)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years driving heavy vehicles such as buses or trucks
  • Knowledge: Understanding of road safety regulations, public service rules, and relevant legislation
