To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Certificate in Administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative environment
  • A Diploma in Administration will be a strong advantage

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and coordination duties, including:

  • Coordinating all administrative functions related to council vehicles within the depot
  • Compiling, verifying, and barcoding the movable asset register
  • Managing the procurement and acquisition of goods and services
  • Receiving, recording, and organizing all incoming correspondence
  • Ensuring the safe keeping of files and records
  • Administering EMIS systems and ensuring all reported complaints are addressed promptly
  • Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Providing reception and front-desk support at the depot
  • Updating and maintaining personnel records and registers
